This like data base of information to practitioners which professionals they use it to get knowledge and skills in their day to day practice experiences. Most of topics in this forum they are very helpful and constructive to the public. Second advantages is like now PPRA the do have online tender information through mobile phones where the public they do register to get the tender information advertised from PE's and decide whether to participate or not instead of depending on hard newspapers. also in the e-procurement overall tendering process will be simplified to reduce paper work, increase procurement efficient by having electronic tender submission, solicitation of suppliers electronically, discussion/negotiation of suppliers/service providers, communication all these are the role of ICT.

There is no doubt that information technology has a critical role to play in improving procurement activities in Tanzania and PPRA has already taken some initiatives like introducing this forum, the tender portal, website and tender alert services through mobile phones
